Long ago, a powerful sorcerer was given the task of forging a great sword for the King.  He completed his task, and was proud of his work.  This was no ordinary sword, as he had infused his magic within the sword.  The sword had a mind of its own, and more miraculously, it could transform, using rare gems fitted onto the sword.  While on his way to deliver the sword, he was ambushed and killed by a powerful stranger.
This stranger became a traitor to his land as he killed the King and took the throne for himself.  He ruled over the land as a tyrant.  The sword knew of his evil, and did not like being used for the wrong purposes.  It created two copies of itself.  Two brave knights took these copies, and fought together to defeat the tyrant, freeing the land.  Soon after, the swords and the gems disappeared, and many thought they would never be seen again.

I can sorta tell the difference. Japanese has a lot more straight lines, and harsher language.

I'll admit it. I'm a Gleek.
:iconworldhero21:
Yeah, it does sound harsh. Chinese has names like "Bai long" or something like that, while Japanese has names like "Hiro Mashima," which is the author of Fairy Tail. They seem to be harder to pronounce than Chinese names, but because I've been reading manga for so long now, I can pronounce Japanese words much better...

Sometimes if they're long, I have to read it over a few times to get the right pronunciation....

Now THAT'S a long word.

:O_o: Whoa! Um, okay.....I don't even know how that is pronounced in German! I don't even know how to speak it!

All I know are 1, 2, and 3 in German, because my 8th grade teacher was part German, so when we were learning about WWII, she would randomly start saying things or counting in German. And you couldn't even tell if she was German or not from her accent....

Oh, she speaks spanish, all right... and when she does, we're like "WTF is she saying?!"

:laughing:Since I don't know a lot in spanish, I just use the very basics. Usually, if I hear someone speaking spanish, they sound really fast, and I can't keep with what they're saying, and I can only catch a few words from them....

Once I went to my friends house, and she and her parents are hispanic. Her mom only spoke spanish, but her dad spoke french, spanish, and another language which was surprising. But my friend's mom didn't speak so fast to me or the rest of my friends. She must have known we were beginners, so she went easy on us by speaking slower for us. I was happy at this, but I only used the basic spanish to her if she was addressing me. Other than that, I stayed quiet and spoke in english with everyone else.....
